Recruitment and Admissions Advisor - Maternity cover April 2024 - February 2025

Position Overview:

The Recruitment and Admissions Advisor is an integral part of the Admissions and Financial Aid team, reporting directly to the Associate Director of Recruitment and Admissions. This role is responsible for driving recruitment efforts to attract prospective students to IMD degree programs. The Recruitment and Admissions Advisor will ensure a smooth and customer focused application process and contribute to the promotion of the program through advising candidates and answering inquiries. The Advisor will also provide admin support to the Recruitment and Admissions team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a targeted region-specific recruitment strategy to attract high-potential candidates for the MBA program.
  • Represent the degree programs at regional events, fairs, and information sessions to connect with potential candidates and promote the program effectively.
  • Guide and support candidates through the application process, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates, offering information on financial aid options and resources.
  • Employ yield management techniques to optimize the admissions process and achieve desired enrolment targets.
  • Evaluate applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidates to provide insightful recommendations to the admissions committee, highlighting strengths and areas of improvement for each candidate.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on regional recruitment activities, leveraging data to optimize strategies and achieve enrolment targets.
  • Support the Associate Director in meeting enrolment targets and contribute to overall program growth and success.

Profile requirements:
Education

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a multinational environment
  • Previous work experience in an academic institution is a plus
  • Recruitment and admissions experience is a plus
  • Event management experience is a plus

  • Strong administrative skills and detail oriented
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal skills)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work successfully in a fast-paced multicultural environment
  • Ability to work both independently and effectively with others in a team environment
  • Availability to travel for business trips in Switzerland and/or overseas.
  • Availability to work 100%
