The Analyst II, Planning/Materials for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for purchasing assigned materials for Beckman Coulter Ireland Inc. from the approved supplier base and developing production/supply plans that take into account forecasts, availability of material and manufacturing capacity.
This position is part of the Materials/Planning department located in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare and will be a hybrid position. This is a maternity leave cover contract. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage supplier base with regular reviews and supplier scorecards, including focus on supplier validation and introduction
Plan assigned Finished Goods to meet set safety stock levels and customer demand in Distribution Centres
Review forecast updates and maintain manufacturing batch sizes in line with demand
Update weekly Manufacturing schedule and review with Formulation and Fill/Packing Operation
Work with Finished Goods Planners to manage supply to customers
Learn our DBS tools and be involved in DBS best practice activities such as Kaizens, PSPs, etc.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Honours Business degree (Level 8) or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar environment
Experience working in an MRP/MPS environment
Highly numerate with a strong aptitude for data analysis and achieving high quality output
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Oracle Manufacturing
APICS Certification / IIPMM Diploma
Visual planning / Lean Inventory management processes
