Network Security Engineer (Maternity Cover)

Your tasks

• Administrating the Microsegmentation software “Guardicore”; Firewall, Site to Site VPN and
• SSL Interception environment;
• Evaluating and configuring policies requests as well as handling Incidents, Changes and Problems;

• Setup and troubleshooting of Traffic-flows with Guardicore and S2S VPN connections;

• Communicating and collaborating with various internal departments as well as external vendors;
• Organizing Software-Maintenance and Agent-Rollouts with vendor and Server-Admins;
• Helping to keep the internal Guardicore documentation up-to-date (operational concept);
• Performing other tasks related to the job.

Your profile

• Good knowledge of general network concepts – routing & switching;
• Experience with tools for network-microsegmentation, policy-settings to regulate Trafficflows based on labels;
• Experience with Firewall and Proxy technology (preferred Fortinet Firewall and Broadcom Proxy);
• Good knowledge of Network services (TCP/IP, UDP/IP, 7 layers of OSI, DNS, DHCP) ;
• Experience in x86 Server Operating Systems, Windows and Linux (RHEL);
• Experience with large network integration with Public Cloud (Azure and/or GCP) would be a plus;
• University degree in Computer Networking, IT or relevant;
• Fluency in English.
