We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our Procurement team. As a Working Student in procurement, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of our procurement operations, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes. This position provides an excellent opportunity for students interested in gaining practical experience in the dynamic field of procurement.
ABOUT YOU
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data related to procurement performance.
Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs). - Order Processing: Collaborate with the procurement team to process and manage purchase orders.
Ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment, tracking, and delivery. - Inventory Management: Support in maintaining optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock levels and replenishment processes.
Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations. - Supplier Communication: Liaise with suppliers to obtain product information, updates, and ensure timely deliveries.
Assist in maintaining positive relationships with key suppliers. - Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the procurement and supply chain and contribute ideas for increased efficiency.
Work closely with the team to implement approved process enhancements. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, and quality control, to streamline operations.
Participate in meetings and provide input on procurement-related topics.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Current enrolment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
