ABB Drives is a global supplier of high-power, high-performance drives, drive systems, and packages for industrial processes and large infrastructure applications. We are looking for a Team Leader in ABB Drives Estonia. In this role, you will oversee the Failure Analysis Laboratory, manage a team to conduct root cause analyses of failed products, ensure product cost efficiency, and maintain high-quality standards for Business Motion products.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and lead a high-performance Failure Analysis team.
- Swiftly address quality issues in low-voltage and medium-voltage products, internally or externally.
- Manage resources, recruit, ensure safety, and oversee team well-being, including everyday tasks.
- Foster cooperation with ABB R&D and PE&Q units globally, collecting inputs for root cause analysis.
Your background
- Proficient in frequency converter hardware with a solid understanding.
- Holds a degree in Electronics, Power Electronics, or Mechatronics.
- Hands-on approach, creative thinking, and ability to comprehend the broader impact of chosen solutions.
- Work experience in line management, product/project management, or product engineering.
- Excellent English proficiency; proficiency in Estonian and Russian is advantageous.
