Workforce Strategy is part of the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (COE) function that fuels excellence and continuous improvement for all of Workday. TA Workforce Strategy team delivers value to TA by providing hiring insight to achieve our hiring plans, guiding strategic investments and acting as the leader for budget & expense forecasting. About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Financial Planning & Forecast Process
Lead Financial Planning - Act the leader of the Financial Planning processes by driving processes for expense planning focused on return on investment for all TA budget owners.
Forecast - Lead TA in forecasting expenses to ensure budget accountability while making in year adjustments.
Strategic - Translate ambiguous requests into investment recommendations.
Communication - Own executive communication on expenses, key decisions needed, risks & opportunities.
Improve Process Efficiency
Automate - Reduce manual activities by identifying and solving for opportunities to eliminate manual work.
Expense Structure - Create & maintain an hierarchy of expenses to support and simplify how expenses are led and analyzed.
Vendor Management
Build a VMO - Develop a Vendor Management Program within TA by defining key activities, owners and operating rhythm.
VM Lead - In collaboration with contract leads, drive the day to day activities related to performance management, service management, renewal planning, and performance management.
Program Leadership
Collaboration- Partner with leaders in TA, Finance & Procurement
Operate Independently - Navigate ambiguity in roles, processes and decisions by applying logic and solutioning
This position reports to the Director of TA Workforce Strategy.
About You
Do you love partnering with business leaders to drive business outcomes? We are looking for a self starter who thrives in a role that balances driving continuous improvements while independently delivering on financial deliverables & strategy.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in TA operations and/or strategic budgeting & forecasting.
Bachelor's degree required
Proven track record in leading business partners to deliver strategic budgets & forecasting.
Other Qualifications:
Vendor management experience.
Willingness & ability to tackle projects outside of immediate scope.
Passionate about simplifying complexity through automation.
Keen ability to translate ambiguous into recommendations.
Passionate about collaborating with business partners to deliver business outcomes.
Experienced in communicating complex information in simple terms.
Experience with Workday reporting, Prism or other reporting tools.
Experience establishing data structure to enable value add reporting.
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
