What will you work on at Hilton Geneva?

 

As a Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist, you will be responsible to deliver the best candidate and employee experience from hiring to onboarding and all through employee life cycle when it comes to talent learning and Development. You will support managers in building the best team sourcing great talents and leading initiatives to foster talent retention and Development.

 Talent Acquisition and Onboarding (60%)

  • Define search process and job description and profiles requirement with each manager for any new recruitment

  • Post job offers on relevant online channels (Internal, Hilton Career, LinkedIn, glassdoors etc)

  • Ensure great visibility of each offer and promote them internally and externally

  • Reduce “time to hire” to minimum, ensure any applicant receive a feedback in a timely efficient manner

  • Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn)

  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)

  • Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs

  • Ensure great candidates tracking

  • Ensure comprehensive background check for each candidate

  • Ensure smooth and best candidate onboarding experience : ensure IT, desks and first day and week are set and communicated etc

  • Launch “Apprentices and Trainees” recruiting campaigns

 

Learning and Development (30%)

  • Promote Learning and Development initiatives all year long : continuous learning, cross-training, Leadership training, mentoring and coaching

  • Ensure talent management cycle : organize check-ins, consolidate outputs and build on internal talent assessments and succession planning : anticipate future skills’ gaps

  • Follow up on onboarding trainings and ensure they are done in the 30 first days of any new comer

HR initiatives: Employer Branding, Diversity and inclusion (10%)

  •  Promote our employer brand online (LinkedIn, Instagram) and offline: participate to schools fair, organize schools visit in the hotel etc

  • Build and promote Diversity and Inclusion programs

For this specific job opportunity, we would value the following skills, experience and attitude:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management with at least 3-year previous experience in talent sourcing and Acquisition and / or learning and Development and / or HR projects

  • Fluent in French and English

  • Experience in an international environment in a similar industry : retail, hospitality or else

  • Positive can do attitude, excellent communication and presentations skills

  • Ability to work autonomously or in teams

  • Methodical and well organized

  • Commitment to deliver high levels of experience to candidates and team members
