This position leads IDT’s Human Resources Operations team supporting Asia Pacific and European countries from the IDT European headquarters in Leuven, Belgium and will be primarily on-site with flexibility. In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee execution of HR processes and technologies to drive an efficient and scalable approach to important HR operations and transactional work in support of optimizing IDT’s associate experience across the entire associate lifecycle. The HR Operations Lead, APAC & EMEA is responsible for driving the consistent implementation of HR standard work, processes, and setting guidelines within the APAC and EMEA regions. This position will partner with HR Operations Specialists and HR Business Partners to gather and analyze information, define, and document business processes, and propose improvements needed to enable efficient operations. By analyzing metrics and processes, this leader will evaluate the most impactful improvement opportunities, maintaining a list of prioritized projects and measure the effectiveness of those changes. The HR Operations Lead, APAC & EMEA is expected to lead kaizen work where appropriate and applicable, and actively participate in the planning, facilitation, implementation, and sustainment of project work. Additionally, this role will support the implementation and development of a platform for standard work knowledge sharing across the broader IDT HR team.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Collaborate with various stakeholders across the Asia Pacific and European regions to gather and analyze information about HR and business processes and support HR and People Leader Process Owners in developing, improving, and documenting standards, processes, preferred practices, guidelines, etc.
Partner with Process Owners to write, edit, and format knowledge base content that is concise, engaging, usable, and appropriate for the audience. Content output type ranges from FAQs, policy documents of All Things HR site, Documentation of Standard Work, How to /Troubleshooting Guides (Quick Reference Guides), and Policy/Program Support Materials.
Work closely with Process Owners to facilitate process and/or system improvements.. This may involve utilizing Danaher Kaizen Tools to define best in class solutions.
Demonstrated experience supporting global HR initiatives at the Opco level to meet established targets through continuous evaluation, quality assurance and focused improvement efforts across multiple geographies and countries.
Effective developer of talent with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a track record of building and developing high performance teams across disparate locations.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Long standing experience in an HR Operations team supporting multiple countries in Asia and/or Europe
Managing complex projects with milestones and measurable outcomes
Lean or Six Sigma process improvement experience
People leadership experience in HR Operations or HR
