In this role you will lead the Motion Services (MOSE) division's internal and external communications ensuring executional excellence in all communications measures and support business management in all communications matters. You will understand business needs and provide consulting support and advice in applying communication expertise to achieve long-term objectives building collaboration between divisions. Also, you will drive outside-in thinking and use of digital communications tools to ensure customer focus leading and supporting the regional implementation and secure best practice sharing. This role is open globally, but location is set in ABB Offices in Europe with a preference for Italy and Finland.

Your responsibilities
- Define the communication priorities to support the business strategy globally.
- Develop and drive the implementation of a coherent and consistent, integrated communication plan and brand positioning in-line with the Motion communications strategy and guidelines throughout the divisions.
- Develop, recommend and execute targeted communications plans and messages including customer and partner communications, editorial, content, employee engagement and internal communications - with the objective of engaging and inspiring key stakeholders including customers, management, employees, trade media and interest groups.
- Keep target audience at the center of the communications plan to make the message as relevant as possible for each audience.
- Ensure executional excellence throughout the area of accountability for all communications measures in line with the Motion communications strategy, brand positioning and corporate identity/corporate design guidelines. Drives continuous improvement.
- Serve as a consultant to the global division management team to ensure quick recognition of timely key communications opportunities and clear response to same.
- Support the division President and other key management with personal communications materials including presentations, speeches, articles.
- Own budget for global division communications program. Research and recommend communications programs and partners to maximize cost efficiency and minimize overlap among businesses.
- Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Manages, guides, motivates, challenges and develops direct/indirect subordinates.

- 8+ years of experience in communications or marketing communications
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Excellent team leader and people manager skills
- Experience in leading remote teams
- Passionate about customer and partner management
- Business driven and willingness to change and drive change
- Excellent collaboration skills
