Form der ArbeitDue to changes in the customs world, we are looking for an AM Customs Agent to make a difference in our Hub located in Copenhagen Airport. You will be a part of the continued success of DHL Aviation in a permanent position. We are looking for people who can work night. The shift start Sunday 21:00 PM and end Monday morning 06:30 AM and Tuesday to Friday from 00:30 PM -08:00 AM.
YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM
As a Customs Agent, your primary role will be carrying out Customs Clearance Processes while meeting the agreed standard by following the Customs Law and DHL Work Instructions. Depending on the shift you will be having daily contact with our customers while maintaining and updating internal clearance software according to customers’ needs.
You will be part of a dedicated team, who all have different areas of responsibility but are always willing to help and support each other. With reference to our team leads and supervisors in customs, you will play an important role in ensuring that the quality of customs clearances and transit documents is always high. There is an open atmosphere with a good sense of humor in the team.
YOUR SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Your interpersonal skills combined with your service-minded attitude are extremely valuable in thedaily contact with our customers and internal partners at DHL. On top of that, you enjoy the international environment where fluent communication in both Danish and English is a must and used on a daily basis. Skills such as working independently and focusing on details are a plus when securing our "Right First Time" principle. You have an interest in both routine work as well as learning new tasks and you are able to work under pressure keeping track of several tasks at a time as you go along. Besides that, you have the ability to adjust according to the compliant laws, legal aspects, rules, and regulations for the area. Our systems demand technical flair and it is an advantage if you have knowledge of Customs processes, forwarding, and transportation. To work at DHL you will have to present a clean police record.
