As a Technical Support Engineer – QA for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shimada, Japan, you will be improving customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment across the local business.The local legal entity of this position is ABB K.K.
This position reports to
Quality Manager
Your responsibilities
- Supporting customer to operate PixelPaint (*1), Atomizer (*2) safely and efficiently
- Taking inquiry of customer and ABB Field Support Engineer to answer questions
- Following support process of Warranty, SI (recall), Reporting with Quality Assurance team
- Collaborating partners and suppliers to find best solution and proposal for next level
- Learning Lean Six Sigma method to find systematic approach with academic basis
- Participating in technical meeting to catch up with updated information
- Instructing and advising to be common tool for all activities of improvement process
Your background
- Technical College/University degree (Electrical, Software or Engineering area are preferred)
- Experience of robot programming by Python or simulation is preferred
- Experience of painting area of automotive industry is preferred
- Familiarity with international environment
- Acceptable for business trip internationally
- JLPT N1 level of Japanese
- Acceptable to use English on business situation
