Spare Parts Technician

You will form part of the team working in the one of the fastest growing and most highly sought after sectors in Industry.In this role you will be responsible the correct documentation and processes in Service team of the AMR Solution Centre within Robotics in Burgos, Spain. You high quality efforts will ensure that the information necessary for a successful world class Spare Parts business is available in SAP and/or other IT tools. With the support of experienced personnel, you will learn the necessary methods to find information within the organization to correctly document tasks such as the manufacturing processes and the necessary raw materials for the Spare Parts needed to support the current and future AMRs manufactured in Burgos.Your energy and proactive problem-solving capacity will ensure that customers globally receive the correct part for their individual machine. As a collaborative team worker, others in the team will see you as the “go-to person” to help resolve problems and find information allowing to get equipment delivered on-time and on-quality.The job is focused on distributing the workload between the practical part (working with devices and their validations, configurations, etc.) but also a more “theoretical” part of searching for information, documentation in folders and management in SAP.The initial period of work is for one year. There is a high likelihood that the work will continue longer, however it cannot be guaranteed at the time of writing.

Your responsibilities

• Learning-by-doing with an experienced engineer who will guide you until you are autonomous
• Ensure documentation related to Spare Parts is current and correct in SAP
• Read and understand technical documents such as CAD drawings of electrical or mechanical industrial machines (AMRS). Translate information as needed to SAP and / or other tools
• Document procedures to be used by Field Service Engineers to perform the necessary maintenance tasks on the machinery
• Compare component technical specifications to between various machinery types to identify interchangeable components

Your background

• 5 years of experience in industry, working in a technical role, ideally with electro-mechanical machines using PLC, variable speed drives and similar
• Demonstrated experience in configuration/programming/validation of electronic devices (PLC, Drives, Displays, Datalogers, etc.)
• Ability to analyze Technical Sheets, Technical Specifications, Documentation, etc., for the selection of substitute or replacement elements
• Ability to interpret/make electrical diagrams
• Experience in creating Technical Documentation for application types: Procedures, Step by Step, etc.
• Ability to analyze and compress structures of materials (BOM), search for references and information therein
• Ability to interpret/make mechanical design drawings
• Knowledge of SAP (Search Roles/Item Modification)
