HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
- You will be responsible for providing MEP&FP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire & Life Safety) engineering support from project inception to hotel opening.
- Work with Hilton’s AD&C team to provide a review of MEP&FP design documents for hotel projects for assigned areas within Brazil
- Visit projects (as needed) during construction to ensure compliance with the submitted and approved plans and CDs. Address concerns immediately, in person, while at the site, and provide detailed written correspondence following the site visit.
How you will collaborate with others:
- Assist the AD&C team and guide the incorporation of ESG (Environmental and Sustainability Governance) and Energy and Water Efficiency strategies in the project design.
- Participate proactively in VE (Value Engineering) coordination and review to ensure project efficient and cost-effective construction practices while meeting Brand Standard requirements and best industry practices.
What projects you will take ownership of:
- Continuously review engineering requirements and changes in the Brand Standards and provide recommendations for updates and changes to adapt to best industry practices and regional particularities.
WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT
- Ten to Fifteen (10 - 15) Years of work experience in design and construction administration of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Electrical systems.
- You are a Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Professional Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering subject area, trade degree in a specific technical field relating to building Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
- Travel as required.
It would be useful if you have:
- Experience and knowledge of sustainable design, energy efficiency, and operations principles.
- A minimum of five (5) years of hospitality experience is preferred, including lead design roles in new construction and renovation projects.
