Join the ABB Finland HR team, where our key purpose is to help ABB stand out when it comes to our people. As a Senior HR Specialist of the Global HR Operational Services team, you will be responsible for delivering HR Service support to the HR community, managers and employees. You will provide a high level of support for internal customers, with accurate and timely processing of information for all stakeholders. In Finland we operate with a team of 13 employees and mainly support employees in Finland. The position is located in Vaasa with hybrid work possibilities and a temporary contract until 30.6.2025. This position reports to

HR Payroll Team Lead

Your responsibilities

• Delivering HR Time Management and Payroll Service support to the HR community, business managers and employees according to defined Service Level Agreements
• Processing HR requests related to multiple service lines (Compensation & Performance, Payroll, and HRIS) for an assigned group of employees
• Providing a high level of support for internal customers, with accurate and timely processing of information for all stakeholders, while ensuring that quality controls are maintained
• Identifying opportunities for improvement based on feedback and experience with customers and taking the lead on process improvement projects
• Communicating information regarding policies and standards on assigned processes to internal customers in a clear and concise manner to ensure understanding and adoption
• Preparing accurate reports and documents for external authorities
• Ensuring that all systems and databases remain up to date with current employee and organizational information, maintaining a high level of data quality and accuracy and providing on-demand reports where required

Your background

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. level degree from a suitable field, e.g. Economics or Administration
• Solid understanding of HR practices and processes
• Passion for problem solving with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within set schedules
• Several years of experience in Human Resources, especially in time management and/or payroll
• Good knowledge of Technology Industry Collective Bargaining Agreements
• Knowledge of SAP HR, Workday and MS Office
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to work with and strong communication skills
• A proactive way of working to serve customers with a “can-do” attitude
