Quality Manager - Food (M/F/D)

For the food safety & quality department located in Vienna/ Austria we are currently looking for a

Your Responsibilities:

• Supplier source qualification and supplier performance evaluation
• Coordinate, organize and perform supplier audits for the entire material portfolio. The focus is on the assessment of food safety risks, supplier improvement initiatives and corrective and preventive actions.
• Responsibility for a specific product portfolio
• Assessment of food safety and quality risks for the respective sources
• Coordination of supplier supervision visits
• Complaint management for the product portfolio including risk assessment
• Acting as an interface between suppliers, customers and internal departments (purchasing, logistics)
• Supplier food safety documentation management: Review and approval of supplier food safety documents
• Support the quality assurance- and regulatory affairs-team
• Be part of improvement projects

Your qualifications and competences:

• University degree in Natural Sciences (Food technology, Nutritional science, Safety in the food chain or similar background)
• Food safety and quality skills (HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000)
• Highly team-oriented personality
• Previous experience with audits (internal audits, supplier audits)
• Willingness to travel (nationally and internationally, especially Europe)
• MS Office skills; SAP/BW is an advantage
• Driving license (B-class)
• Fluent in English. An additional languages is beneficial.
