YOUR ROLE
As our Head of Cross-Channel Communications you are a crucial part of our marketing team and join forces with us to build a world of confident home cooks who feel inspired, enabled and at ease in their kitchen. Working hand-in-hand with our Director of Marketing you are responsible for building a cross-channel communication strategy to achieve our ambitious marketing goals. You empower and lead the team of experts across a multiple set of channels, through insights, analysis and your track record of experience and success.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Define & develop our cross-channel communication strategy to increase our brand awareness, our user base and traffic on our website, in our apps and on our social media platforms
- Plan and execute campaigns across our different channels to drive engagement of our users as well as specific business goals
- Lead and develop the team of communication experts by setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and empowering them with the tools and framework they need to succeed
- Together with your team of experts, develop and coordinate our communication activities, prioritize channels for scaling and experimentation and expand to new channels
- Develop and execute content partnerships and user acquisition initiatives on our social media platforms
- Define, evaluate and prioritize new and already running communication opportunities together with your team
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and partner brands
- Be the communication advocate of Kitchen Stories: Make sure that whatever we do, we keep in mind how this will affect our (potential) users, retention and overall traffic
YOUR PROFILE
- You are a highly trained marketing professional, experienced in all kinds of brand & campaign management with a great passion for food.
- You come with demonstrated relevant work experience from a publisher, app or new media marketing environment and have proven your capabilities in a start-up/scale-up environment.
- You understand how to adapt different marketing strategies and tactics to our specific environment as a web and app publisher.
- You are an extraordinary communicator with strong problem solving skills rooted in data-driven insights that guide sound decision making, across product, brand and growth teams.
- You are a seasoned manager as well as team player with excellent cross-departmental collaboration skills and a hands-on mentality.
- You come with previous leadership experience, led by example in your interactions within and outside of your department, focused on collaboration, clear and constructive communication, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- You have excellent verbal and written skills in both German and English.
- You enjoy good food and are inspired by it as a topic.
