Senior Product Manager B2B Saas Platform (M/W/D)

Smart Host is a B2B SaaS platform for the hospitality industry. We empower hotels to put their own data to work. We collect, clean and enrich guest data from both internal and external data sources. Combining this data with analytics and multi-channel messaging allows us to take guest communication and marketing efforts to a new level.

Our typical clients are not necessarily tech-savvy, so it's on us to skyrocket them into the digital marketing age, by simplifying the experience to the maximum through great usability.

To account for our growing business and diversification of our product, we are looking for a seasoned Product Manager with a strong focus on user experience, data analytics and data-driven decision making. Helping our hotels to understand their guest behaviour and to adapt to their guest’s needs and aims, is key for their success and thus also for the success of Smart Host. As part of our product team you will contribute to the features and roadmap decisions that will shape our product further and carry it to international markets.

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs and competitive landscape.
• Analyze product usage and market data to make informed product decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
• Collaborate with your fellow team members and the management to prioritize features and enhancements based on company strategy, customer feedback, product usage data and market trends.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for your features, from concept to launch, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to assess the success of our products.

• University degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, statistics, math, physics, tourism or a related field of study
• Job experience as Product Manager – at least 5 years, preferably in a B2B SaaS Start-Up
• Excellent communication and organizational skills - able to work under (time) pressure, experience in project management
• Passion for easy to use products – UI/UX are central to Smart Host
• Extensive experience conducting user feedback surveys, monitoring product usage and translating that into actionable insights and KPIs
• Experience with agile project management techniques
• Basic technical understanding of complex database problems and predictive analytics
• Data-driven personality
• Full working proficiency in English AND German
• High motivation, reliability and flexibility
• Passion for travel and tourism, profound industry knowledge (hotels)
