Senior Product Designer (F/M/D)

As a Senior Product Designer(f/m/d) at Wunderflats, you'll play a pivotal role within the product triad, collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers. Take charge of Product Design across both ends of our marketplace, with a  focus on the transactional space between supply and demand. Your creativity and meticulous attention to detail will play a key role in shaping the success of our platform.

YOUR MISSION

• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Engineers to understand business goals and user needs, translating them into intuitive and visually appealing designs, for both our web and mobile platforms.
• Leverage your advanced proficiency in Webflow to create engaging and responsive web designs that enhance user experience.
• Actively lead and participate in the definition and implementation of an updated design system, contributing to the establishment of design standards and guidelines.
• Draw on your previous experience in product design to mentor the junior members of the team on all things related to the design process
• Support the brand and communication team in maintaining design consistency across all company assets, including customer emails and newsletters.
• Create prototypes (using Figma, Protopie, Principle, etc.) and conduct user tests to gather feedback and iterate on designs, ensuring usability and efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, bringing fresh ideas and innovative design approaches to the team.
• Play a key role in tracking the outcomes of design decisions and ensure accountability. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager to define success metrics and establish a feedback loop to gather data and insights from users. By leveraging analytics and user feedback, you will continuously evaluate the impact of your designs and iterate on them to drive continuous improvement. Your ability to measure and track the effectiveness of design solutions will contribute to the overall success of our platform and help us make data-driven decisions.

ABOUT YOU

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Experienced in using Webflow and other relevant design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Proven track record in designing and delivering successful products on a variety of platforms, including mobile, with exceptional user experiences.
• Excellent ability to communicate and mentor junior team members  showcasing the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and reasoning. 
• Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, particularly with Product Managers and Engineers.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout.
• A track record showcasing user-centered design methodologies, in particular continuous product discovery and including prototyping, user testing, and iteration.
