As a Project Manager for semiconductor hook-up management, you will take charge of planning, implementing, and completing innovative semiconductor hook-up projects, while identifying project risks and working closely with the general contractor. In your new role you will:
- The development of a comprehensive project plan with the general contractor covering all aspects of the semiconductor hook-up projects (including schedule, budget and quality requirements)
- The control of the active management of all necessary measures in terms of project risks, problems and dependencies in cooperation and agreement with the general contractor
- Leading and facilitating higher level project meetings, keeping all stakeholders informed and ensuring transparency and coordination throughout the project
- The analysis and definition of the required infrastructure and human resources, as well as establishing clear roles and responsibilities between the Project Manager and the general contractor to ensure smooth project execution
- Mentoring and coaching team members, including Basic Supply Engineers, Hook Up Experts and Ramp Up Experts, to build a high-performing team, while fostering positive relationships with the general manager and other stakeholders
- The setting of KPI targets and Controlling (Business Balance Score Card) to drive continuous improvement of project management processes
- Ensuring compliance with project management best practices and industry standards, enabling best-in class project execution
Your Profile
The Project Manager should be able to lead the general contractor by setting clear expectations, communicating effectively, and working closely with all stakeholders involved. Furthermore the Hook Up Manager can provide regular feedback, offer coaching and proactively identify and solve problems, while fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Completed a technical degree (chemistry, process engineering, economics) with a focus on occupational sciences or a similar field, showcasing your technical prowess and passion for project management
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the planning, management and implementation of projects, demonstrating your ability to drive successful outcomes
- Knowledge of agile project management methods, as well as in Ramp Up
- IT affinity: good knowledge of MS Project, Excel VBA, toolbox approaches and digital workflow processes
- Excellent time and self-management skills, combined with a proactive and structured way of working, enabling you to stay on top of your projects while driving continuous improvement
- A high level of social competence, assertiveness and teamwork skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and partners alike
- The ability of communicate fluently in German & English, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration
