Intro

Nuventura has developed a new generation of electrical switchgear that is highly innovative and environmentally sustainable, which it now industrializes for scaling globally. While the company continues to develop new products with its R&D department, it is now ramping up its production capability to meet growing demand for its already developed products.

While Nuventura's business model builds on licensing its technology to manufacturers around the globe, the company also supplies core components of the technology to such manufacturers. Additionally, Nuventura also manufactures full products for its home markets.

Are you interested in gaining valuable and extend your current experience in the field of HR and people management? We are looking for a proactive and motivated Junior HR Manager (f/m/d) to join our dynamic HR team.

Tasks

What will you be responsible for?

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assisting with the recruitment process, such as posting job openings, conducting background checks, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, performance evaluations, and any relevant documentation.
  • Benefits Administration: Administering employee benefits programs. This may involve communicating benefit options to employees, processing enrollments and changes.
  • Payroll Processing: Assisting with payroll activities, processing timesheets, addressing payroll-related queries, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Employee Relations: Handling employee inquiries and concerns, mediating conflicts, and fostering positive relationships between employees and management.
  • HR Information Systems (HRIS) Management: Managing HRIS software platforms, including data entry, system updates, and troubleshooting issues to ensure accurate and efficient HR operations.
  • Legal Compliance: Staying informed about relevant employment laws and regulations and ensuring organizational compliance with these laws, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws, labor laws, and data privacy regulations.
  • Relocation Support: Provide comprehensive relocation support to employees, including coordinating logistics, managing budgets, ensuring policy compliance, liaising with vendors, maintaining documentation, gathering feedback for improvement, and facilitating a smooth transition to new locations.
  • HR Projects and Initiatives: Assisting with special HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion programs, employee engagement surveys, and organizational restructuring efforts.

Requirements

  • Education: Vocational Training (Berufsausbildung) in Office Management or Business Administration, or a related field may be preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English are essential for effectively liaising with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders, as well as for providing clear information and guidance.
  • HR Knowledge: Solid understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Proactive in analyzing problems, identifying solutions, and making sound decisions.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in handling sensitive employee information, documentation, and compliance matters.
  • Ethical Conduct: Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information and adhering to ethical standards.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different departments and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
  • Adaptability and Learning Agility: Willingness to learn new skills, stay updated on industry trends, and adapt to changes in the HR landscape.
