With this position, you will be entering the „technical ladder": our career path for experts. In your new role you will:
- Be the topic owner for first level technical contact for our key automotive customers in Europe
- Technical support on all high voltage power products for Electric Drive Train applications from power supply with Onboard Charger, DC/DC converter, Battery Management Systems to Main Traction and Auxiliary Inverters including products like IGBT Modules, MOSFETs and Driver ICs in Si-, SiC and GaN-technology
- Provide expert technical guidance and support for customer product designs and platforms
- Work proactively on optimized solutions for our customer's applications together with the entire European Technical Marketing Team, the account managers and the product experts
- Prepare and execute customer presentations and product as well as application trainings
- Support our customers in the system design from concept to production release throughout the whole project phases
- Validate the application on-site together with the customer
- Discuss innovative applicationswith the customer development teams and collaborate with our development departments and marketing teams
Strong communication skills are your outstanding strength and you know how to build lasting relationships and networks. In your thinking you always consider the impact of your actions and you give equal consideration to your team members and your customers. In addition, you have a clear vision of how your ideas and innovation contribute to success.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Semiconductor Technology or a similar field
- Up to 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of high voltage power products, ideally in IGBTs/modules, driver ICs or MOSFETs including wide bandgap semiconductors
- Provable understanding of automotive applications and knowledge in wide bandgap semiconductors
- Knowledge of circuit and PCB design, and device assembly technologies and cooling concepts
- Experience in tools like PSpice and thermal simulations would be a plus
- Fluent English and good German communication skills
