Field Application Engineer, Israel, East Europe And Dach

We are seeking an Field Application Engineer Germany or East Europe or Israel – Remote  with a strong technical background, customer-focused mindset, and experience with Test & Measurement equipment.

Your main tasks will be: 

·                Provide technical consultative assistance to our customers on their test requirements in automotive, power, and semiconductor applications by present and demonstrate technology solutions to customers including all hardware, software, and service offerings

·                Consult on and support our customers in the creation of optimized software routines in automation scenarios for our customers

·                Ensure installation, training, and acceptance of solutions into our customers’ workflows, and give continuing technical support to these systems

·                Support the investigation and understanding of our competitors and how to sell against them using our unique value 

·                Support the training to internal sales associates and our partner network

·                Work with account management teams to build intimate relationship with our key accounts by delivering world-class technical consultation to our customers 

·                Assist marketing objectives by leveraging domain knowledge to deliver both virtual and face-to-face marketing content

·                Become well versed in the full Tektronix portfolio offering and work closely with sales partners to identify all possible business opportunities across performance, mainstream, & entry scopes, arbitrary waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, source measurement units, digital multimeters, etc.

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience: 
•    Technical Degree e.g. Electronic Engineering or similar field with a strong knowledge of Test & Measurement and/or automotive and/or power electronics and/or semiconductors 
•    Proficiency with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, source measure units, arbitrary waveform generators, DMMs, power supplies
•    Knowledge of automotive test and applications associated with IVN, ADAS, EV and Body
•    Either knowledge of compliance test measurements standards: MIPI; DisplayPort, Ethernet 1000Base-T, USB, HMDI, DDR, PCI, etc.    
•    Nice to have knowledge of programming languages and instrumentation control (i. e. Matlab, LabVIEW, Python, C++/C#) 
The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following: 
•    Willingness to work with customers 
•    Good communication and presentation skills 
•    Ability to work independently and with little supervision 
•    Flexibility and mobility within Germany, East Europe, Israel, 
•    Readiness to work in the international environment
•    Fluency in English, German, East European languages, Hebrew.
