The Munich Marriott City West sets new benchmarks and standards in meetings & events. Inspired by the Bavarian lifestyle and with 398 guest rooms and suites and nearly 5000 sqm of public space, including a state-of-the-art conference center, customized and first-class event needs are put into practice. The upscale concept includes the Italian restaurant & Vineria Assoluto with open show kitchen, the Assoluto Caffe and the Westhub Lounge & Bar, offering an outstanding culinary offering combined with warm hospitality in a stylish ambience. Our guests are also delighted by the spectacular roof terrace and MClub Lounge with panoramic views over the city, all the way to the Bavarian Alps. The hotel is located in the lively Westend, centrally located in the immediate vicinity of Munich's Old Town and within walking distance of the famous Oktoberfest grounds.

Who we are looking for...
Are you "hungry for business"? Are you charming, a real "sales" personality and do you lead your team to success and beyond? Then you are the right person for us as Director of Sales. You will create enthusiasm for our fantastic new hotel product among our future customers and enable us to establish ourselves firmly in the market. You will not miss any opportunity to present yourself and to convince our customers. You will also play an important role in coordinating with our operational hotel team to always provide the best service to our customers. You report to the Director of Sales & Marketing and work closely with all hotel departments.
What your responsibilities are...
You are responsible for new customer acquisition, customer development and professional customer care in the area of the local and international corporate market as well as at trade fairs and events
You are responsible for t contract management of all framework contracts and bookings
You sell all hotel offers to our customers and guests, conducting professional and result-oriented sales talks
You plan and organize internal customer events
You conduct regular market observations
You analyze and evaluate sales relevant reports and base your strategic decisions in coordination with the Director of Sales & Marketing
You are responsible for administrative and operational management of the sales team
You are responsible for development of your team and the trainees and enjoy passing on your extensive knowledge
You are involved in recruiting your team members and provide them with a professional induction and a motivating working atmosphere
You are a real team player with all hotel departments and the leadership team

You have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in the sales area in the upscale hotel industry or other industries.
You are "hungry for business" - no way to the customer is too far for you!
You have a fantastic appearance, are charming and convince with your professionalism
You are characterized by a modern management style and have a lot of experience in leading and motivating employees.
You are a communication talent with great German and English skills
Your winning appearance, your can-do attitude and hands-on mentality are a natural part of your personality
Your willingness to perform inspires your team to top performance and as a true team player you support the leadership team professionally with advice and action with your expertise
Your enthusiasm to share your knowledge with your team and trainees is contagious!
