HubSpot’s overarching mission is to help businesses grow better. In support of that mission, HubSpot is seeking an inspiring, inclusive and customer-centric DACH & CEE Corporate Sales Leader & Country Manager.

The DACH & CEE Country Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the corporate sales team, with the primary responsibility of driving growth and success in their designated market. This position requires a strategic and results-oriented individual who can effectively manage and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.

In this role, you’ll get to:

Leadership and Management team:

  • Provide direct leadership to the corporate team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and support team members in achieving their goals
  • Rigorously manage forecasting and pipeline health
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for development
  • Be an exemplar of HubSpot culture across the site and remote teams attached to the country

Market Strategy and Expansion:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive market strategy to drive sales growth and increase market share
  • Identify new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and market trends to stay ahead of the competition
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of sales strategy
  • Provide cross-functional leadership and guidance, particularly across Flywheel teams

Sales Performance and Target Achievement:

  • Set ambitious sales targets and closely monitor performance against these targets
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies
  • Implement effective sales techniques, training programs, and incentive schemes to maximise team

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners and stakeholders
  • Act as the main point of contact for corporate accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility

Budgeting and Financial management:

  • Develop and manage the country’s sales budget (with direct ownership for CORP and input into other segments), ensuring efficient allocation of resources
  • Monitor expenses, sales forecasts, and financial performance to achieve profitability targets
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance and market trends

We are looking for people who:

  • Have a strong track record of overachieving sales targets in a high volume, high growth business focused on Corporate businesses across DACH & CEE. Multi-product sales experience is a plus.
  • Are experienced in leading and developing diverse and high-performing teams of around 30 geographically dispersed sellers and managers.
  • Have proven leadership, team management, and coaching skills including second line management experience and a consistent track record of hiring, developing, motivating and mentoring successful teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local market, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Have clear examples of leveraging multiple data sources to inform key decision making.
  • Have experience creating a high-energy, inclusive team culture that fosters trust and a sense of empowerment.
  • Have a deep understanding of customer values, needs, and goals to design processes solving for customers first.
  • Are naturally curious. If something seems off, you want to figure out what is going on and fix it.
  • Hungry to learn; you receive and implement feedback well.
  • Passionate and resilient; you’re not deterred by setbacks and enjoy the process of building relationships over time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator, especially in client-facing settings.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough, with the ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Works autonomously and pivots quickly to changing business needs.
  • Cares deeply about customer-centricity and HubSpot’s mission of helping millions of organisations grow better.

This role would require your presence at HubSpot’s Berlin office (~2-3 days per week, most weeks).
