The Director Sales Support will develop together with the team of Sales Support Managers as well as the Business Line Managers (BLM) of the relevant Sales Areas annual sales plan and support the execution of sales targets. Additionally, you will develop new business and work closely with local and international sales, marketing and technical experts to bring the full range of our product offerings to our customers. You will focus on the Mining industry and Tunneling segment. The ideal candidate has evidence of selling capital goods in need of explanation into this industry and/or experience in the global Mining and/or Tunneling industry. In this position you will be part of the Division Management team and lead a committed and enthusiastic team in a challenging market environment. This position is based in Zeltweg / Austria.

Your responsibilities

• Drive the Sales Business to support the Mechanical Cutting strategy
• Support tender/bidding activities, contract validation and lead negotiations
• Maintain limits of authority regarding customer quotations and contracts
• Develop together with Sales Support Managers and BLMs annual sales plans and define on key projects the budget in the assigned Sales Area(s)
• Coordinate the monthly operating reviews with Sales Areas
• Collect data from CRM to identify key projects
• Coordinate Division specific marketing activities
• Manage annual list price updates
• Continuously improve customer service levels, establish and improve customer relationship
• Provide important market information (incl. competition assessment) for strategic decision-making
• Prepare short-term and long-term product sales forecasts
• Develop Sales Support materials and case studies
• Provide market feedback to Product Line Management and Aftermarket

Your profile

• Relevant master/bachelor’s degree or HTL combined with a proven track record in designated fields of work
• At least 10 years professional experience in Mining, Tunneling or heavy equipment industry
• Fluent in English, basic German skills preferable
• Result-driven approach creating and executing strategies and ambitious plans
• Demonstrate flexibility, speed, problem solving, innovation and analytical skills
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25%)
• Flexible and self-motivated person with individual initiative to learn and grow

As required by Austrian federal law we hereby state, that for this position the base salary is € 110.000,00 gross per year. The exact salary depends on qualifications and professional experience.
