In this role, you will act as a key member of the global commercial department, providing business intelligence that will help understand commercial performance, support business planning and influence the global commercial strategy in making business decisions and develop actions to reach commercial targets. You will manage one business analyst reporting directly to you to provide data analytics and reporting.
Business Intelligence
- Manage the reporting of global commercial performance, on all channels and regions.
- Direct resources and analysis to support decision making. Monitor, track, and predict key business trends that drive value creation for the business.
- Create, develop and implement clear 360 commercial reporting, business analysis, dashboards or scorecards, that will support business understanding and improve decision making.
- Be the business leader of performance on the development of reporting tool, of optimization of functionalities in existing ones (SAP, Booster, PBI,…), hand in hand with IS&IT teams
- Feed the entire Commercial and retail Department with performance KPIs, supporting them in making the appropriate decisions based on clear business priorities
- Create the content/reports needed for management meetings and strategic presentations, liaising with finance, product marketing and the Executive Committee members.
- Provide direction and leadership to the commercial team, developing and building talent.
- Participate to the budget process and commercial projections for the business, providing all relevant analysis to help set and communicate the sales targets for all markets
- Support management, markets and key business partners with relevant data about sales, clients, KPIs;
- Supervise the monthly sales estimates in collaboration with markets and business development teams;
- Manage ad-hoc projects based on business needs, HQ and/or regional initiatives
Commercial Planning
- Through a challenging partnership approach, coordinate and consolidate sales forecast during the different financial planning phase of the year (e.g. Budget, latest estimates, etc.)
- Responsible of the Daily Sales, monthly estimate, monthly rolling forecast and other end of month reporting
- Act as a major contributor to the creation of various commercial presentations including the annual Market Action Plan
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
- University degree in business, or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in a commercially driven analytical role or consulting role in a high paced and demanding environment.
- Languages: Fluent English and French a strong plus
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and proficiency in Reporting tools.
- Knowledge of SAP and Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills to translate key decisions to action plans with all stakeholders
- A curious and flexible mindset and be a motivated self-starter with high emotional intelligence
- An very organised multi-tasking approach, taking pride in your work and meeting deadlines
- Extensive experience in working in multicultural environments with multiple and diverse management stakeholders
