Planning First Line Manager (Nights)

Salary will be £30,385.00
working hours 22:30 - 06:30hrs - any 5 out 7 days.
A night shift premium of £2,600 per year, paid monthly

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Planning First Line Manager (Nights) to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse planning procedures

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

Produce daily site labour, transport and courier plans, conduct plan vs actual analysis by understanding the cost impact and improve planning and cost efficiencies

Coordinate training and performance coaches for site to have the required skillset to achieve all site volume forecasts

To supervision, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, always maintaining standards of excellence.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Previous and practical experience as a supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment.

Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices.

• Ability to produce statistical data and analyze reports
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports.
