In order to support the Sustainability and Environmental team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Working student in Sustainability (d/f/m)
You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of a sustainability manager? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Global Business and Strategic Programmes / Sustainability and Environment team as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!
Location: Ottobrunn
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 12 months
Definition working student
Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.
Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

to contribute to develop processes in the "Sustainability and Environmental strategy" team and support the implementation of concrete actions
to support the management and participate to dedicated projects
to assist the team in assessing the social and business risks with respect to sustainability and employee engagement
to provide ideas and concepts for business opportunities together with the Functions and Programs
to contribute to the Airbus commitments and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
to develop appropriate goals, KPIs and processes for measuring performance of our domain within Airbus Defence and Space
to support the reduction of the environmental footprint across our european sites
Further we aim to inspire people to integrate sustainability in the business being role models
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of sustainability management, environmental science, business studies, economics, engineering or an equivalent field of study.
You have a proficiency level in Google Suite
You already have some previous working experience in the field of Corporate Responsibility (would be a plus)
You are highly motivated and interested in sustainability and have a "can-do" attitude
You have a structured working approach and lots of initiative
Your English is Fluent (German would be a plus)
You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently
