Uk Individual Pricing Analyst

This is an extremely varied role and you'll have the opportunity to work as part of an established, friendly team and with a variety of stakeholders across the business.

What you’ll be doing: 

You will be working with a variety of data sources to produce regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to inform pricing decisions. This includes:

• Evaluating the profitability of our UK Individual portfolio, focused on the AXA Health retail customer products.
• Investigating emerging trends, risks and opportunities.
• Evaluating the impact of strategic and tactical initiatives on performance.
• You will need to deliver high quality reports, with appropriate recommendations and commentary, to help drive business decisions.
• As well as working proactively, you will work on requests from senior management and other departments, so you should be able to work with and relate to a wide variety of people.
  

This role could be a great opportunity for a graduate with a degree in a numerate discipline or someone with experience of data analysis who is looking for an analytical role within a busy Commercial environment.

What we’re looking for: 

• An enquiring mind, excellent problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and the ability to clearly present findings from analysis.
• A strong numerical and analytical approach is essential. 
• A confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people and building effective work relationships.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of profitability.
• Excellent attention to detail in order to produce accurate findings.
• The ability to work both alone and as part of a team as well as maintaining focus under pressure.
• Proficient in the MS Office package, with excellent Excel skills.
• Experience of SAS Enterprise Guide and/or Power BI would be preferable, but not essential. 
• Knowledge of the PMI industry would be an advantage.
• Degree in a numerate discipline or experience of data analysis.
  

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom. 

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
