Potential candidates must be quick learning, self-driven technical communication professional experienced in all stages of content development.
He/she must be able to understand complex concepts and interpret them into simplified, structured and reusable content. He/she must be good a communicator who can easily network and build rapport with stakeholders.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts/procedures, and interpret them into simple understandable content
- Ability to gather information from a variety of sources like procedural instructions, engineering drawings, CAD models and subject matter experts
- Ability to convey clear, concise, and accurate technical information
- Ability to communicate with global stakeholders
- Ability to gather quality data and act on improvement actions
- Ability to review documents written and illustrated by other team members to ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy, and compliance with style guide
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
DITA
- Strong knowledge on DITA, reuse concepts, single souring, multi-channel publishing (exposure to DITA backend is an added advantage)
- Expert in any of the XML editors. Experience in AEM is an added advantage
- Solid experience with any industry standard authoring style guide
Content Management System (CMS)
- Version control and branching
- Metadata concepts
Engineering & collaboration
- Should be able to use 3D models and understand engineering drawings
- Ability to understand technical concepts
- Should be able to guide Technical Illustrators
- Good understanding of DDLC
- Any XML editor, preferably AEM
- Any content management system
- Good exposure to Microsoft Office tools
- Adobe Acrobat professional
- At least beginner level knowledge on one of the illustration tools
- Good command over English
- Passionate about Information development
- Eye for detail
- Self-driven working with minimal supervision
- Problem solving
- Participative as a team player
