There’s no need to shock you with the exact figures, but as you are probably aware, carbon emissions are a big problem. Unfortunately, heating our homes is one of the greatest contributors to those carbon emissions. What you probably don’t know, is that by switching to better heating solutions, we could cut heating-related emissions by up to 80%. That’s where we come in.

nuuEnergy is at the forefront of contributing to the energy transition, which Europe needs to do to cut its carbon emissions quickly. We do this by offering customers end-to-end heat pump installation, ensuring that they actively cut emissions within their own homes and contribute to a healthier plant. Sounds interesting? Tasks

About the role

As you can can probably tell by now, we have pretty big ambitions. These ambitions rely on people like you, who can make a difference as part of a growing team by employing the skills, knowledge, and experience you have collected over the years.

With regards to the Recruiter role, we we want you to actively drive our hiring strategy, especially for our heat pump installers. We want to enable young tradespeople to have an unbeatable career in the field of energy transition and work in fantastic, local installation teams. You will also support the hiring process for key hires in various roles at nuuEnergy. As you will be the first employee in the talent team, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with the CEO and actively shape the HR team and talent strategy of nuuEnergy.

What you will do

We are looking for a startup and impact enthusiastic individual. As a Recruiter, we are pretty sure that your day-to-day work will often vary, while always remaining interesting. Your key tasks will include:

  • Supporting the CEO along the entire recruitment process from requirements planning to screening and evaluating incoming profiles and conducting interviews
  • Active sourcing of candidates via various channels (e.g. social media, Xing, LinkedIn)
  • Benchmarking of competitor hiring tactics in the blue collar space and co-development of creative hiring strategies (e.g. affiliate recruitment)
  • Collaborating on specific HR projects such as the strategic development of a talent pool

Requirements

About you

Rockstar. Maverick. Genius. We think these words are overused, and don’t expect you to be any of them. However, we are looking for someone who ticks some of the following boxes, but remember, not necessarily all:

  • First experience in recruiting and/or first experience in startup, VC, or consulting (e.g. internship)
  • Strong and confident communicator
  • Hands-on mentality and very good communication skills
  • Team Player who contributes to a collaborative and fun work environment
  • Demonstrated ability for high autonomy and independent work
  • Fluency in German is a must
