Tasks

YOUR NEW ROLE IN OUR TEAM

At Genesis Cloud we’re scaling up. To keep up with this trajectory, we are looking for a Strategic Project Manager who supports Genesis Cloud in structuring, managing and overseeing Strategic Projects, improving day-to-day processes, activities and operational efficiency.

As part of your role, you will develop the supply chain and procurement processes of the company, manage the relationship with our technology partners and infrastructure providers, develop and execute our growth plan and structure the process for continuous deployment in our data centers.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in operations and project/program management, is a strategic thinker, capable to work independently, but also capable of building a team or to engage with teams from different groups. You have experience working in start-ups/scale-ups, are process-oriented, and have the ability to operate in an open and collaborative culture.

This position is located in Munich, Germany. Hybrid work (up to 2 days home office per week), as well as flexible working hours can be arranged.

THESE CHALLENGES ARE WAITING FOR YOU

• Support the Managing Directors and executive team with cross-departmental Strategic Projects and day-to-day activities on the Genesis Cloud Group level, i.e. across all GC subsidiaries
• Plan independently, oversee and manage strategic initiatives, act as main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and report status to the Genesis Cloud executive team
• Liaise with stakeholders, including Genesis Cloud internal staff, across the organization, as well as external parties including suppliers, lawyers and other external advisors and derive need for action
• Prioritize Strategic Projects and tasks associated with business strategy together with the Managing Directors
• Together with the COO, implement the ERP system, incl. mapping out the process internally and with vendors
• Develop the supply chain process in GC, including the generation of RFQ’s, PO’s etc.

Requirements

YOU IDENTIFY WITH THIS PROFILE

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related technical field
• Min. 3 years of managerial and leadership experience as Project Manager or similar positions in start-ups / scale-ups
• Experience in a Top Tier Strategy Consulting Firm as a Consultant or Junior Project Manager (Engagement Manager) is a plus
• Proven experience in program/project and operations management
• Experience guiding and influencing multiple teams and departments
• High degree of organizational skills
• Proactive, self-reliant and hands-on work mentality
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Proactive, forward-thinking mindset combined with a strategic vision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ideally German
