D) - Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

Primarily support the Indirect Supply Operations team in Germany on the procurement of goods and services used in the production of the Tesla Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg.
Manage and negotiate a high volume and wide range of commercial contracts, including purchasing agreements of non-productions parts and equipment, logistics and warehousing agreements, technology licensing agreements, development agreements, services agreements, leases and other real estate agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
Provide advice on a wide variety of strategic, regulatory, and transactional matters for the Indirect Supply Operations teams at the Gigafactory.
Facilitate resolution of legal disputes, including by drafting and responding to breach of contract claims.
Prepare and maintain contract forms to support Tesla’s businesses and areas of operation in EMEA.
As needed, assist in transactions to support the construction, infrastructure and production equipment teams within the EMEA region.
Liaise with colleagues outside of EMEA to ensure consistency of contracts and risk allocation across the various Tesla businesses.

Fully qualified German lawyer with excellent academic credentials in both State Exams (Erstes and Zweites Staatsexamen).
Ideally, a minimum of 3-5 years of practice experience; combination of law firm and in-house experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills with a business-level to near native-level fluency in English and German (verbal and written). Additional European languages are a plus.
Team player with the ability to proactively identify problems, drive projects, make complex cost/benefit assessments, be resourceful and identify pragmatic/creative legal and business solutions.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
