The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Sr. Director for Enterprise Engineering to lead the execution and evolution of Firefly generative AI workstreams for our enterprise customers. You will be responsible for providing technical and organizational leadership for features like Firefly model customization, extensible generative APIs and enterprise focused generative presets. Firefly for Enterprise is one of the biggest priorities for the organization and the measure of success in this role is rapid execution and delivery of features on the Firefly enterprise roadmap. You will help grow the organization into multiple US and global teams and implement a scalable process to parallelize the execution of various enterprise features. You will partner closely with the enterprise PM team, Adobe consulting and various field teams that work closely with our enterprise customers.
What You'll Do
Grow and lead multiple teams to execute on various Firefly enterprise features
Ensure predictable, efficient delivery of features in a phased manner to increase the engagement with enterprise customers and grow the adoption of features
Understand the client requirements and technical constraints for various enterprise customers and come up with solutions to streamline the software stack
Lead the teams to build multi-tenant solutions to satisfy customer requirements
Lead the development of custom generative AI solutions like “Train Your Own Model” using customer data
Work closely with Firefly service and ML platform teams to lead the development and operation of GPU efficient, highly reliable and scalable services for various enterprise features
Lead the integrations of generative AI enterprise features with content delivery mechanisms ranging from Adobe’s offerings to those used by the clients
Represent Adobe in technical conversations with the enterprise customers
Partner with the Firefly Enterprise PMs to define the scope and requirements of deliverables
Ensure the delivery of high quality, reliable, enterprise Firefly features complying with the data protection/isolation requirements and privacy regulations
Partner and collaborate with other Adobe teams to build solutions leveraging existing technologies
What you need to succeed
A track record of leading and growing high-performing engineering teams to build and deliver complex engineering features for enterprise customers
Experience working directly with customers to architect and build solutions for their use cases
Experience with enterprise multi-tenancy, data isolation, content system integrations, metering and billing, etc.
Experience with building tiered and entitlement-based technologies for multi-org enterprise customers
A Bachelors of Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
A minimum of twelve years of industry experience including five years of Engineering leadership experience.
Experience with GPU based ML inference services is preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $180,500 -- $407,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
