As a Director of Engineering (f/m/d)* at Parloa, you will be a critical linchpin in advancing our technology and supporting our mission to revolutionize the contact centre industry. Your role will encompass both managerial and technical responsibilities. You will be responsible for creating an environment that fosters innovation, inclusivity, and growth.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Develop long-term, yearly strategies and plans affecting multiple engineering teams or a whole function
- Influence Product & Engineering as well as other departments in the company and drive cross-engineering / company initiatives having global max in mind
- Influence senior leadership effectively using data, narratives, and business judgment
- Lead multiple customer facing product engineering teams
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- A minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role, managing at least four teams or a crucial departmental function of similar scope
- A track record of setting strategic direction, designing organizational structures for scale, as well as identifying and mentoring potential leaders
- Understanding of infrastructure, architecture, technologies and organizational models to discern trade-offs during decision making
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and technical communication, both written and verbal
- Experience implementing mechanisms for timely, accurate information relevant to business performance and operational effectiveness
- Experience enhancing product quality, customer and employee experience, and business metrics
- Experience working with and influencing stakeholders across the company, e.g. Product Marketing, Sales, etc.
