To strengthen our Supply Chain Management team, we are looking for a Buyer with fluency in Turkish language and hands-on experience working in purchasing. Your responsibilities

• Supplier registration: evaluating supplier responses, selecting purchasing organization and company codes, (MGD relevant content)
• Supplier qualification: sending of questionnaires, analysis of responses together with strategic procurement, ensuring approvals are granted (follow up on approval process), selecting appropriate departments for approval
• Organizing calls with suppliers and Ariba technical support when needed being point of contact for any SQ issues/questions,
• Constant updating and maintaining of supplier account data in Ariba, requesting, verifying and archiving the required qualification documentation (ABB Global Terms and Conditions, ABB Code of Conduct, ISO Certificates, Bank Documentation etc.)”
• Tracks goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing,
• Oversees supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and re-solves performance issues,
• Initiates supply orders in the system, confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements,
• Aligns supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Re-source Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating
• Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price,
• Conducts all Supply Chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills from a centralized environment with ability to work on strategic, tactical as well as operational level,
• Support Procurement Business Partner for specific procurement topics in indirect materials and service (Signatures on contracts and admin work),
• Commercial understanding and negotiation skills by previous experience in Purchasing/Sourcing dept. of a multinational company is an asset.
• Process Purchase Requisitions and create Purchase Orders
• Proactively monitor confirmations of Purchase Orders from the sup-pliers and proactively manage on time deliveries
• Resolve issues related to Purchase Orders and Invoices
• Closely collaborate with your internal customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Report your achievements and support our further development by identification and implementation of improvements

Your background

• At least 4 years of experience in corporate environment, ideally in operational procurement/SCM area,
• Proficient in business English (B2/C1) and additional language would be a plus,
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit,
• Experience of working in Back Office SCM operations would be a strong plus,
• Customer focus with proactive attitude,
• Negotiation skills,
• Hands-on experience of working with SAP Ariba would a plus,
• Advanced Excel skills would be a plus,
• Contract management,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
