Currently we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be a member of the IM R&D Finance team in Switzerland. The location for this position is in Switzerland, preferably in Bern, Zug or Allschwil.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide Finance business partnering towards R&D leaders at the Bern, Switzerland site and more broadly as required across the global Therapeutics Development & Supply organization of IM R&D.

• In collaboration with business, build robust and accurate financial forecasts and business cases that are in line with site strategy and operational requirements. Challenge investment assumptions and financial processes to ensure efficiency in each.

• Develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of risks and opportunities to delivering plan. Provide insightful analysis to business results and turn these insights into foresights applicable to future results.

• Accurately execute quarter close responsibilities for actual results (Journal entries, Intercompany charges, Latest Thinking, Headcount reporting).

• Prepare latest thinking (quarterly actuals vs. budget) submissions on program level and cost center level.

• Ensure timely and complete financial reporting according to J&J planning calendar.

• Monitor the demand of the VPAD organization and ensure data integrity into our Beacon system on a monthly basis.

• Develop, challenge and supervise appropriate resource allocation to the site, projects and departments, aligned with stakeholders and company strategy.

• Actively participate in global IM R&D standardization and optimization initiatives and projects.

• Champion process improvements and identify ways to live into technology enhancements to increase efficiency of internal processes.

• Proactively take ownership for personal development, ensuring a positive work life balance while managing stakeholders in the US and EMEA region.

Qualifications

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor or commercial degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent • 4+ years’ experience in a similar Finance position • Strong technical, analytical and interpersonal skills • Flexible and able to work under tight deadlines • Business fluency in English (oral & written) • Proficiency with MS Office and SAP required; knowledge of advanced digital tools Power BI, Alteryx) is a plus • SAP/Beacon knowledge is preferred Key Qualifications and Leadership Characteristics: • Strong communication skills & influencing skills, customer focus and proactive attitude, and ability to partner effectively with business • Ability to take initiative and work independently in an international and hybrid (virtual/on-site) environment; ability to deliver under tight deadlines • Ability to master a changing and complex business environment; ability to challenge, improve and optimize current processes with hands on mentality and attention to detail • Ability to zoom in and out on business topics depending on the audience • Open to new ideas and with strong interest for digital technologies • Strong commitment to business ethics and Credo values
