Senior Financial Analyst
for its global Pharma Division Headquarter based in Allschwil- Basel.
Primary Job Function:
The primary objectives of this position are to provide financial support and financial transparency to EPD’s Global Marketing, EPD Strategy and EPD Finance management. The HQ Senior Financial Analyst is accountable for the quality and timeliness of the financial reports / submissions to division HQ Finance team and will act as business partner for EPD Global key support functions.
Core Job Responsibilities:
As a Team Member of our motivated and proactive EPD Headquarter Finance team the primary duties and responsibilities of the job, within a fast growing, challenging and interesting environment will include:
Coaching and partnering with EPD Global Marketing and Strategy Team on any financial matter
Develop budgets and accurate forecasts in support of annual Plan, quarterly LBE (Latest Best Forecast) and Quarterly Confirmation
Guarantee a smooth and compliant monthly closing process in cooperation with the teams
Analyze monthly results, prepare adequate monthly Reporting and discuss with main stakeholders
Conduct various Ad hoc analyses and drive efficiency improvement initiatives
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
Master’s degree (or comparable degree) would be preferred
Minimum Experience/Training Required:
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, general accounting and or financial reporting
Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry would be an asset
Experience in coordinating multiple relationship (including non-Finance stakeholders) at the international level would be an asset
Experience in project controlling would be an asset
