Role Introduction / Overview:

  • Finance Reporting Senior Analyst develops reporting and control procedures to accurately prepare information required for Financial Reporting and analysis.

  • The overall objective of this role is to ensure business/department financials are prepared and delivered in a timely and accurate manner.

  • ·General activities include day-to-day Finance function working closely with other functional units globally and in-country.

  • Will be involved in and lead different new and ongoing projects.

  • Support German Broker/Dealer Legal Entity Manager

  • Position resides in the Finance area which services German Broker Dealer

Some of the key responsibilities in the role:

  • Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting.

  • Support German GAAP Legal Entity Reporting.

  • Perform analysis of financial results and conclude cause of variances such as accounting issues and economic events

  • Support the preparation of Monthly Senior Management reports

  • Maintain a strong control environment to meet Citi internal and external governance requirements. Ensuring compliance with accounting directives, guidance and policies and oversee implementation of new initiatives.

  • Support with internal and external audit reviews.

  • Assist with the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products

  • Enhance controls and integrity around manual data processes and sources

  • Act as a trusted member of Germany Finance team

  • Engage with various off-shore teams to enhance efficiencies in the reporting process.


What knowledge, skills and experience we’ll need from you:

  • Financial Services Industry and Project Management experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards
  • Ability to work with multiple functions
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
