Warehouse First Line Manager

Pay Rate: £31,000 to £32,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Rotational - Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 14:00pm and 14:00pm to 22:00pm
Location: Banbury (OX16 3ED)

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager - Warehouse to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Happy to work at HEIGHTS
• To directly assist Management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area.
• Managing a team of Warehouse operatives
• To track and trace orders using a digital In-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous and practical experience as a supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices.
• Previous experience of preparation and distribution of volume orders.
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports.
