The key responsibilities foryou as Carrier Compliance Manager include:
Responsible for understanding,using and maintaining the Carrier Database and Carriers' compliance records forLLP use. Own the Carrier Compliance agenda
Review and redesign new supplychain processes to improve service levels and mitigate risks, including KPIs,Health & Safety, compliance, audits, SOPs to support theLLP team.
Support new accountimplementation as part of the wider Central Carrier Implementation Team.
Support the CarrierDevelopment Manager with Carrier engagement and benchmarking activities.
Build a strong workingrelationship with Carriers to support the success of the supply chain.Understand their business strengths, weaknesses, capabilities and futureopportunities.
Understand key legislativeroadmaps for any changes which will affect Carriers and impact rates oroperational suitability
Additional activities willinclude (but not limited to) the preparation of central reports ready fortimely and accurate submission to the wider LLP team (including the ExecutiveTeam), these including spend reports, carriers KPIs, fuel and marketintelligence reportsetc.
Requirements for the Job
English Skills Fluent
Diploma/ Certificate inLogistics/ Freight Forwarding
Educated to Degreelevel MCIPS – Desirable
Experience in multi modaltransport operations (Courier, Road, Air & Sea), freight forwarding
At least 5 years Managementexperience in Freight Forwarding and or a logistics environmentexperience
Supplier Management; CarrierManagement and/or Supplier Relationship managementprograms
Customer relationshipmanagement skills - Senior Account Management experience Demonstrable record ofservice improvement through innovation
Experience in multi modaltransport operations (Courier, Road, Air & Sea), freight forwarding - DGF /Express / Freight
