Responsibilities:
- As a Support Analyst, you will provide L2 and L3 level support for the production environment. This will give you the exceptional opportunity to take responsibility for the central operation of production-critical IT systems and server platforms in international plants
- Collect and document the necessary information during business incidents
- Resolve critical incidents or escalate them if necessary
- Close contact with the Level 3 support team for prioritisation and escalations
- You also become a central part of the problem management. Server administration activities, performing database backups and handling recovery issues are also part of your duties
- Proactively monitoring the network, devices, operating systems and application software within such a production-critical business environment requires a 24/7 shift model
6+ years of hands-on experience in one of the following areas:
- Windows & Linux Server Administration
- High awareness of ITIL processes (incident, change and problem management)
- Desirable: Knowledge of networks, firewalls and domains; SAP, databases, applications, storage, backups, other Linux variants are additional bonuses
