As a Head ofRevenue & Cost Controlling Operations, you will manage all Controlling related activities (i.e., people, budget and planning) within the respective Controlling Area, ensuring and improving their quality. You will play a crucial role to secure data used by global Controlling organization, coordinating efforts between business to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for internal stakeholders.
In your new role you will:
- Lead and develop a process stream of CO Specialists, Subject Matter Experts and Team Leads;
- Demonstrate deep E2E process expertise being the single point of contact for Global Process Owners;
- Perform continuous process harmonization and promote expansion of GFS (Global Finance Services) service scope;
- Plan, direct and oversee Controlling operations;
- Enable, coach, mentor and develop Controlling employees;
- Manage and optimize the collaboration in the pool;
- Define and control customer-specific target service levels;
- Ensure maximum Team performance and customer satisfaction;
- Secure compliance with IFX' guidelines, processes, operational continuity, communication requirements;
- Monitor and control the Controlling relevant KPIs;
- Raise awareness for quality and risk management by:
- Representing ultimate authority for all quality and risk related matters;
- Being responsible for quality KPI reporting;
- Ensuring the fulfilment of time and cost according agreed qualification plans / schedules;
- Defining quality targets (corporate targets) out of requirements from customer and market.
- Drive the necessary change management when setting up the activities;
- Be responsible for development measures, training plans and succession plans for all responsible employees;
- Lead employees by implementing the right organizational footprint and skills to address future challenges;
- Give direction and vision to the teams in a highly complex global environment;
- Coordinate the operational activities matching employee' potential and promote individual and team development.

Your Profile
You are a natural team player with strong collaborative skills that allow you to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You consider yourself an empathic listener that continuously strives to create sustainable relationships. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to effectively exchange with internal and external partners of all functions and levels of the organization. You are a problem-solver with a flexible mindset, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects under pressure and exercise a high degree of adaptability. Furthermore, quality is very important for you and you lead by example.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent fields;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Finance either in a leadership and/or an operational position, preferably in an international and multi-cultural environment;
- Proven experience managing teams or project teams would be highly valuable;
- Experience in a Shared Services environment is an advantage;
- Strong Excel and analytical skills – experience with SAP FI/CO;
- Experienced background in Accounting;
- Business expertise of own function's contributions to achieving business objectives;
- In-depth understanding of principles and concepts in own technical area;
- Good knowledge of related areas where there are regular interfaces;
- Ability to evaluate new/complex situations using analytical thought;
- Ability to manage staff’s day-to-day responsibilities, coaching and mentoring, identifying professional development needs and training opportunities, and continuous performance evaluations;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with all levels of leadership and departments within the company;
- Ease of working independently and willingness to learn and grow;
- Fluency in English.
