THE ROLE
- Bring support to Government Affairs (GA) efforts for Abbott. Report to GA Country Director.
- Follow and support GA initiatives to protect and advance Abbott's interests and its business units before Legislative Bodies, Government Agencies, Policy Makers, Politicians, Trade/Business Associations and other Allies and Influencers.
- Deliver weekly reports and GA activities for the Board of Director of Abbott in France
- Lead key projects assigned by GA Country Director in relation with the ecosystem of associations and stakeholders in the field of e-health and/or patient groups.
THE PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in process in Political Science, Public Policy, Public Health, Science related disciplines are preferable. Legal degree or MBA is a plus;
- At least 1 experience in Government Affairs, public affairs and public policy for private or public sector
- Strong analytical skills to dissect complex range of public issues
Teamwork
- Communicates at Abbott France level and other EU countries where Abbott has activities
- Collaborative with internal partners (businesses and functions)
- Matrix leadership and supportive to GA Director
- Not a solo operator
- Fluent in French and English
- Basic computer skills and/or video skills
