Reporting to: Business Director
Based at: Ingolstadt Village
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager (m/f/d) to develop and execute the strategy for food and beverage for the Village to drive sales and enhance guest experience in the Village. They will ensure our guests receive the highest level of food quality and service within the Village through excellent working relationships with our Food brands in the Village. Working with and in support of the Business Director with a dotted line to the Central Food & Beverage Director of Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that the Village achieves its sales targets, food and beverage strategy and provides an excellent guest experience through:
- Developing excellent relationships with existing restaurants and cafés that are conducive to maximising sales and business opportunities within the Village
- Ensuring service delivery at every point of sale in the Food and Beverage areas and that guests are satisfied and receive high quality service
- Maintaining and developing personal knowledge and expertise to provide guidance to Restaurant managers and enhance profitability
- Being responsible for accurate and timely management information, with supporting analysis, through weekly reporting to Retail Director and/or Business Director and Central Food Team
- Liaising effectively with Leasing and Operating teams in providing the support needed to achieve highest levels of guest satisfaction, compliance with all legal requirements and successful operational coordination
- Working with Marketing, Tourism and Digital teams to amplify the presence of Food in the Village
- Developing targeted training with HR for staff development and career enhancement
- Providing input to implement the Village strategy through analysis of hospitality trends, customer behaviours and key seasonal dates
- Promoting the Village position within the local community
- Being curious about new F&B trends happening in the country, assessing them and daring doing tests via kiosks for instance
Additionally:
- Being part of Village 360 degree initiatives with an accountable and responsible role in multidepartment structures as part as the always on innovative strategies
- Working closely with all retail managers and beyond
BACKGROUND & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Hospitality degree or equivalent
- Extensive experience of multi-site managerial role within food and beverage sectors
- Demonstrates strong market knowledge of the food market
- Can demonstrate excellent leadership, influence and negotiating skills
- Developed analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a can-do attitude
- Good decision making capabilities
- Strong leadership and team building skills, and well-developed and articulate communication skills
- Interact and liaise across all levels of the business
- Fluent in English and German language, any other languages beneficial
