What will I be doing?
As Food & Beverages Manager, you are an operational hand-on professional, responsible for overseeing operations, and increasing profitability of all hotel F&B outlets.
This role also involves:
- Understanding local tourism culture and city profile to provide align F&B initiatives accordingly
- Continuously enhancing product and service knowledge, upholding impeccable F&B standards
- Elevating the levels of F&B service across all outlets
- Overseeing budgets, expense control, and revenue optimization whilst upholding quality standards
- Create and update menus that highlight culinary excellence, with a focus on seasonal bests
- Driving the career succession plans with Head of Departments, ensuring top talent will grow
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a fulltime Food & Beverage Manager to become an integral part of our professional and hard-working team at Hilton Auckland. As the F&B Manager, you will be more than just a manager; you will be the orchestrator of exceptional experiences for our guests, and our teams!
The successful candidate for this role will bring:
- 3+ years work experience in overseeing Food and Beverage operations, ideally within a 5-star local hotel
- Proven track record in enhancing the performance of F&B outlets, restaurants, bars, and event spaces
- Effectively managed key costs controls and delivered tangible results through reporting
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills, collaborating effectively with various Heads of Departments, elevating F&B standards
- A creative and proactive leader with deep passion for the hospitality industry
It will be beneficial if you possess the following:
- Previous work experience at a Hilton property
- Education in Hotel and Tourism management
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and processes
- Hotel Management qualifications, e.g., LCQ, GM Certificate, WSET
