Executive Director, Analytics & Insights
About the Role
As the Executive Director, Analytics and Insights, you will lead the transformation of the Corporate Affairs Analytics & Insights team, transitioning it from a service provider to a strategic and predictive powerhouse. You will drive the utilization of data-driven methodologies to anticipate market trends, influence target audiences, and optimize corporate strategies, ultimately enhancing the company's competitive position and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics and insights strategy aligned with corporate objectives, leveraging advanced data analytics techniques to proactively identify market opportunities and risks.
• Lead the implementation of predictive analytics models to forecast market dynamics, anticipate shifts in stakeholder behavior, and inform strategic decision-making across all business functions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to integrate insights into business planning processes and optimize resource allocation.
• Drive the development and enhancement of data infrastructure and analytics capabilities to ensure the timely delivery of actionable insights and the continuous improvement of analytical methodologies.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of analytics initiatives, track progress against strategic goals, and communicate insights to executive leadership.
• Champion a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting the importance of evidence-based decision-making, providing training and support on data analytics tools and methodologies, and fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics and insights, and assess their potential impact on the company's competitive positioning and strategic priorities.
• Cultivate relationships with and manage a diverse range of external partners, including agencies and vendors, to access additional expertise, data sources, and analytical capabilities that can further enhance the company's analytics and insights capabilities.

Role Requirements
• Several years of experience leading teams in customer or market research, data analytics, information systems and/or related
• In-depth knowledge of data analysis methodologies, statistical modelling, predictive analytics and machine learning
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex data into clear and actionable insights and to tell a compelling story about audience insights and the impact of our Corporate Affairs programs
• Strong influencing, partnering and negotiation skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agency partners and key stakeholders
• Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize and possessing knowledge of the latest industry trends and best practices in insights and analytics
