Environmental Specialist (M/F/D) - Madrid

DEVELOPMENT STAGE:

• Analysis of environmental restrictions, territorial and urban factors for the evaluation of the environmental viability of the projects, from their approach phase with GIS tools applied to renewable energy projects.
• Analysis of applicable Environmental legislation related to renewable projects (state and regional).
• Analysis of environmental conditions during the permitting obtention process and follow the implementation with Project Management team and Engineering team.

CONSTRUCTION STAGE: supervision of the environmental compliance of all the projects since the beginning of the construction until the end to ensure the fulfilment of all the environmental specifications and regulations.
COORDINATION: coordinate the environmental works and studies made by environmental consultants to achieve the delivery objective in terms of deadline and quality. Work efficiently and coordinated with transversal departments within BayWa r.e. Projects España to deliver works effectively.
TRAINING: hold workshops with internal departments to teach new environmental laws, new procedures, new environmental requirements, etc.
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: managing the environmental legal requirements derived from environmental impact statements and other applicable regulations.
OTHER MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• EXTERNAL REATIONSHIPS: Maintenance relationships with local Authorities and other environmental agents (ONGs, Environmental Groups, etc.).
• INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS: maintain relations with Engineering, Project Developers and Project Managers to ensure good communication of the information relating to environmental issues.
• NEW WORK LINES: accompanying the new lines defined such as carbon footprint, agrivoltaics, storage batteries, etc.
