- Be a visible model thatwill support the Environmental (HSE) Compliance Assurance programimplementation at Tesla locations across EMEA.
- Develop and keep acollaboration between the EHS leader, facility manager, design manager, localteam and mains stakeholder.
- Support in the processimplementation of the EHS compliance and sustainability programs, focused onresults. Support local staff on fundamental Environmental (EHS) andsustainability requirements, concepts and principles to reduce risk; andinfluence, inspire and empower business teams and staff to minimize the riskper our Tesla EHS vision, values, and principles.
- Support and coordinatethe capacity to produce and implement results from the plans in the pipelinefor the EHS compliance and sustainability solutions and analyze results andtrends from the market, to identify continuous improvement project.
- Create and support theimplementation of requirements, standards and guidelines on EHS andenvironmental permit compliance structure for Tesla locations across EMEA.
- Make sure the training,awareness and required instruments are provided to the stakeholder to keep and toreport EHS compliance according to the EHS Compliance and Sustainability strategy.
- Report and proactivelyconnect with the EMEA EHS Compliance and Sustainability leader on the programimplementation details and needs, gaps, risk management focused on thepriorities established and local needs that need to be incorporated in thesolutions designed.
- Support the EMEA EHSCompliance and Sustainability leader with the system deployment and it use forEHS Environmental compliance program.
- Support the Waste program, Sustainability projects andESG compliance in EMEA, whenever required.
Anfrage
- Bachelor’s degree inIndustrial Safety, Environmental Health or Sustainability related discipline.
- Experience applyinggovernment and regulatory environmental, health or safety regulations inEurope.
- Experienced working aslocally based EHS Specialist in Europe.
- Experience as projectmanagement implementation of procedures, legal requirements, standards andguidelines in different markets in Europe.
- Practical, proactive hands-onexperience with driving Environmental Compliance in the most efficient andpractical way.
- Have English languageskills, with the ability to communicate in both at a professional level andinformally. Other languages are an additional preference.
- Strong communicationskills with the ability to positively and orderly interact with the full rangeof business management and regulators, operational and frontline workers and 3rdparties.
- Have a resilient andteam player personality, with a solution driven mindset, great attention todetail, problem-solving skills, multi-task, prioritizing, and working in ahighly fast-paced environment, and a demonstrated ability to perform dutiesindependently and remotely with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of European,African and Middle East environmental regulation is an additional preference.
- Ideally hold a validdriver’s license.
- Willing to travel up to 25%of the job.
