We are looking for a candidate for the position of Cyber Security Engineer for the ABB Operation Center Europe.Place of work: Pilsen/OstravaIn this position, you will manage the IT part of control systems from the point of view of security and data protection against cyber threats. Your responsibilities

• Work on projects for the world's largest companies from industry, energy and maritime transport
• Installation and configuration of Windows servers/clients in a domain environment, ABB control systems and their security
• Configuration and management of the virtual environment using virtualization tools such as VMware ESXi, Horizon, Microsoft Hyper-V, etc.
• Design and configuration of network elements in project networks (e.g. Hirschmann, Cisco, Moxa, Fortinet)
• Design, installation and management of advanced Cyber Security solutions
• Conducting system audits, design and application of Cyber Security rules
• Testing new versions of cybersecurity products
• Collaboration with global ABB teams and the cybersecurity community
• Occasional work trips abroad

Your background

• University education in the field of IT, or secondary school education with at least 2 years of previous experience in the field of IT
• You speak English (level B1 and above)
• You have basic knowledge of computer networks - configuration of network elements
• You are interested in PC hardware and the network environment in general
• You are proactive, communicative and able to work independently
• Do you want to educate yourself in the field of IT and Cyber Security, follow the latest trends and work with the most modern systems and technologies in your field
• Orientation in the Windows environment (server administration, AD, DNS, GPO) is an advantage
• Previous experience with some of the above virtualization tools is an advantage
• Automation or electrical experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of German at a communicative level is an advantage
